​On the Pixelberry app Choices, there is a medical drama called Open Heart. When Pixelberry created another app called StoryLoom and opened a competition for creators to make a story-game based on Open Heart, Em thought: what if they weren't doctors, but robot mechanics? And what if it took place on the moon? And what if all communication with Earth had ceased during an event called the Silence, brought on by a rapidly improving artificial intelligence?

StoryLoom has since closed its doors, but the tale of Dr. Ethan Ramsey's elite team of robot mechanics lives on in Em's heart (and computer).
