Ainsley: Ainsley is your artificially intelligent companion, gifted to you by your parents before their untimely deaths. They are able to create food and clothing for you out of thin air in exchange for rare gems shed by your pet gemmingbird. They are sheltered and sweet and care for you deeply.

Ellis: Ellis is your childhood best friend, and he has been loyal and trustworthy over your many years together. He works in AI for a large technological company.

Crimson Justice: The Crimson Justice is a mystery - a superhero with whom you have struck up something of a rivalry. Will you ever get to see the face under that helmet?

Max: Dr. Max Fenton is whip-smart and determined to undo the damage caused by her mother, the scientist whose plagues brought on the apocalypse. She is undeterred by the damage done to her spinal cord by the Red Sickness, but her disability does make it near-impossible for her to accompany you on your journey. Instead she provides you with resources and dispenses useful wisdom.
